Yoga

I have been exploring the world of yoga recently. Through books, classes and a tape my mommy bought for me. I have learned a lot and I am seeing the holistic balance between my mental and physical self. I have been trying to engage myself in many different types of yoga. So far I can check off my list, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yago, Bikram Yoga and tonight I went to my first Kundalini Yoga Class. Kundalini is a mix of yoga and meditation. Next on my list is Jazz Yoga, I wonder what that is going to be like, maybe they will play Enya with a mix of Michael Jackson (I wish).

What I love most about yoga is being in touch with my body and my breath. I feel awake after I do yoga, the feeling incredible.

Something the teacher said tonight stayed with me on my journey home “Our spines are cords full of life and light that connect us together”

Afterwards I went to this amazing tea shop with so many choices, peach white tea, strawberry goji berry and ginger ginseng. I got pumpkin spice chai.
